Freeview is a digital television service which uses a regular TV aerial for reception.
Most of you receive from the Mendip transmitter, either directly (Freeview) or via a repeater (Freeview "lite") There is no analogue tv anymore, it is gone, unless....
You get your tv from the meridian region, in which case you will be switching over this year.
The main transmitters are Hannington, Mendip, Rowridge, Salisbury & Stockland Hill.
Freeview lite is a limited service, which does contain most of the mainstream programs (incl HD), but omits a lot of the more obscure programs.
